About Larry
Larry Elworth is a Strategic Partner at RESOLVE. In more than 35 years in agriculture and public service, Larry has served as a senior advisor at the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Agriculture and the White House Domestic Policy Council, combining extensive senior Executive Branch policy experience with agricultural management and production knowledge. His portfolio has included a broad range of agricultural and environmental issues, including: pesticide regulation and legislation, renewable fuels policy, the intersection of the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Air Act and other environmental statutes with agriculture, farm and rural policy, agriculture conservation policy, organization of large scale agricultural projects, as well as significant experience in strategic policy development and implementation. As founder and Executive Director of the non-profit Center for Agricultural Partnerships, he worked with farmers and organizations in 15 states to implement environmentally and economically sound practices on more than 500,000 acres. His agricultural background includes managing orchard and vineyard operations for 15 years and serving as head of the check-off program for apple growers in Pennsylvania.
