Paul De Morgan (Senior Mediator)
Paul De Morgan, a Senior Mediator with RESOLVE
since 1999, has over 13 years of experience
facilitating and mediating multi-party,
consensus-oriented policy dialogues and
site-specific dispute resolution processes. His work
has focused on issues related to natural resource
management, with a recent emphasis on energy
projects (hydro relicensing, transmission, LNG) and
on species conservation and management. He has also
worked on projects addressing issues in
biotechnology and trends in agriculture. Mr. De
Morgan has facilitated a wide range of processes,
including Federal Advisory Committees, national
policy dialogues, public workshops, information
exchanges, and strategic planning processes. His
most satisfying recent accomplishment was helping
bring the Clackamas Hydro Relicensing negotiation to
a successful conclusion.
Born in Calgary, Mr. De Morgan spent his early
childhood in England, the Turks and Caicos Islands,
Plattsburg, and Charleston. He graduated from the
University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in
economics and received his Masters in Natural
Resource Policy from the University of Michigan,
where he wrote his thesis on environmental dispute
settlement.
Mr. De Morgan worked with The Keystone Center
prior to joining RESOLVE in 1999, and is a member of
the Association for Conflict Resolution. He
currently works out of Logan, Utah and Portland,
Oregon. |
