Jennifer L. Peyser (Senior Mediator)
As a Senior Mediator in RESOLVE’s Washington, DC
office Jennifer Peyser assists clients and
stakeholders with convening, facilitation, and
mediation of multi-party policy dialogues and
consensus processes. She specializes in processes
dealing with the highly technical scientific and
regulatory questions involved in environmental
policy making. As a facilitator and trainer, Ms.
Peyser has worked locally, nationally, and
internationally with stakeholders including
environmental and industry representatives,
scientists, elected officials, and agency staff. Her
project experience includes natural resources cases,
such as fisheries and alternative energy, and public
health cases such as drinking water, endocrine
disruptors, and biotechnology.
Ms. Peyser first joined the RESOLVE team in 2001,
returning in 2005 after earning her master’s degree
in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s
Department of Urban Studies and Planning,
Environmental Policy Group, where she completed her
thesis on public involvement in natural resource
management decision-making. An Affiliate and past
Project Manager of the MIT-USGS Science Impact
Collaborative, and a former Graduate Associate at
the Consensus Building Institute, she holds a
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a
Bachelor of Arts in French from Iowa State
University and is a Morris K. Udall Scholar for
Excellence in Environmental Policy. In addition to
her work as a facilitator, Ms. Peyser assists with
business development activities for RESOLVE. |
