Kathleen Grant

Kathy Grant has over twenty-five years of experience with mediation, conflict analysis and resolution, and collaborative problem solving, including seven years as a Senior Mediator at RESOLVE, with a particular focus in health policy. She has facilitated a diverse range of projects including agricultural biotechnology, tobacco control, drinking water, rape prevention, and therapeutic research on HIV/AIDS.

She served as the Director of Mediation Services at the Massachusetts Department of the Attorney General for sixteen years, where she created and supervised a state-wide emergency mediation service, the Conflict Intervention Team (CIT), to respond to crises resulting from large-scale, usually racial, conflicts in schools and implemented the Student Conflict Resolution Experts (SCORE) program, a national award winning system of urban peer mediation programs in Massachusetts. Ms. Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Emmanuel College.
