Mason Hines joined RESOLVE as an Associate with the Health Program in August 2016. In his role, Mr. Hines helps industry, consumer, government, NGO, community and other stakeholders engage in collaborative dialogue and decision-making processes, primarily around issues related to food and drug safety, agriculture, disease prevention and healthcare.
Prior to joining RESOLVE, Mr. Hines worked as an ombudsman for the American Red Cross, helping its constituents effectively manage workplace conflict, raise sensitive issues and strengthen team functioning. Mr. Hines earned his graduate degree in conflict resolution from The University of Oregon where he studied conflict analysis, cross-cultural dispute resolution, mediation, facilitation and joint problem-solving processes. While completing his degree, Mr. Hines served as a small-claims and truancy mediator in Tillamook, Oregon, working closely with the county justice department, schools and Department of Human Services. Mr. Hines holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Georgia.
