About Hussine
With academic qualifications in Law and an MBA in International Business, Hussine dedicated the earlier part of her working life supporting UK Oil & Gas companies venturing and operating in hydro-carbon enriched Sub-Saharan African markets. She has also supported the design and implementation of private sector development programmes centered on improving livelihoods, job creation and SME development. Her areas of expertise are mainly; Investment promotion and facilitation, Promoting linkages and local content development, and the Extractives sector. Hussine is currently engaged as a Private Sector Development and Extractives Sector specialist supporting international donor agencies and development finance institutions, specifically the Worldbank and IFC, as well as the US-based non-governmental organization, RESOLVE and USAID, to align their development agendas with national public policy priorities and private sector social investment initiatives. Hussine has both British and Sierra Leonean nationality.
