Observer Seats on the CIFs

Voting for civil society observer seats on two
sub-committees of the Climate Investment Fund
(CIF)’s Strategic Climate Fund (SCF) - the
Forest Investment Program (FIP) and the Scaling
up Renewable Energy Program in Low Income
Countries (SREP) - is now open on the RESOLVE
website at
www.resolv.org/cif. Please note that you
must first register to vote at
www.resolv.org/cif/registration by
Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. U.S.
Eastern Daylight Time.
Voting will remain open until Friday, January
8, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Daylight Time.
In order to vote, you must be a member a
non-profit civil society organization, network,
or small, local community involved in issues of
climate change. Only one vote is permitted for
each organization, country office/affiliate of
large organizations, or small, local community
affected by climate change
Voting instructions will soon be available in
Arabic, Bahasa Indonesian, Chinese, French,
Nepali, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
