In October-November 2009, RESOLVE consulted with members of civil society on important criteria for Advisory Committee members and asked for suggestions of good candidates for the Advisory Committee (AC). We referred to these criteria and suggestions in identifying and extending invitations to potential AC members who were not themselves interested in filling the observer seats. The members listed below have generously volunteered their time to advise RESOLVE on the civil society self-selection process and its implementation during November 2009 - January 2010. We are grateful to the AC members for giving their time in the service of the civil society community in order to ensure that the selected observers are widely respected, legitimate, and chosen through a transparent and open process. One or two additional members may join the AC during the process; we will post updates as necessary.
