SEC Adopts Final Rule in Connection with Dodd-Frank Section 1502

On August 22, 2012, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted rules regarding conflict minerals disclosure, outlining disclosure requirements for companies to report on the use of minerals that originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country.
